Christeson. University of Missouri Press, 1973. Fiddle phrasing and banjo arrangement by Dale Allen Pfeiffer. Original Notes: Bill Driver never did have a name for this tune, and it was identified locally as "the n----- tune." The first part is undoubtedly taken from "Lardenr's Reel" (Howe, Musician's Omnibus, p. 52), while the second part seems to be wholly evolved from tradition. Another tune having the same characteristic structure, that is, the first part from "Larnder's Reeel," second part something else, is found on an old 78-rpm recording, Okeh #45205, under the title "Kansas City Reel." Recorded by Bill Criver, who played it often at the dance floor.cn 'Mandolin GDAEci #',Banjo open G
